About Me

I am Damilare Daniel — a Cloud & DevOps Engineer with a sharp eye for infrastructure design and a talent for well-researched, cost-effective solutions. I build systems that scale gracefully, fail quietly, and let your team sleep at night.

With hands-on experience across AWS, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, Istio, and CI/CD pipelines — and a KCNA certification to back it up — I've honed my craft across cloud architecture, infrastructure automation, container orchestration, and systems reliability. I lock down infrastructure with layered IAM, VPCs, security groups, and Secrets Manager. I instrument everything with Prometheus and Grafana so nothing breaks silently. I write in Python and Bash, manage data across RDS, PostgreSQL, and S3, and apply FinOps thinking so the cloud bill never becomes the scariest thing in the room.

I'm a thinker by nature, a Liverpool FC fan by suffering and loyalty, and someone who believes the best engineering is the kind nobody notices — until it's gone. I bring that same diligence and hunger for excellence to every team I work with. I also care deeply about people, and find genuine joy in helping others grow — technically and beyond.
